Dr. Robin Erickson is currently in private practice and specializes in dual diagnosis, marital and couples therapy and addiction. She has over 14 years experience in the field of Mental Health, Family Therapy and Addictions.
She has worked in various settings, such as private practice, program and compliance administration, residential, intensive outpatient, correctional settings, school settings, intervention, prevention and aftercare programs.
She has designed, implemented and facilitated several curriculums in the field of addictions and dual diagnosis. She has also implemented and facilitated numerous Family Support Groups and Aftercare groups in the addiction community.
She has conducted several trainings and workshops in the addiction field, specializing in relapse prevention for the addict and the family, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and other post-modern theories/techniques, as well as dual diagnosis and other mental health topics.
Robin has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage Family Therapist since 1998 graduating with honors from Barry University in Miami. Robin received her Certified Addiction Professional certification in 2000 and her Ph.D. in 2010.
She is also a Qualified Supervisor with the State of Florida for Mental Health and Marriage and Family therapists.
